Hi all,
as usual, I post after I realize that this site is apparently rotting and I have some free time (=\). Back after a week long overseas CIP to Bintan, I was dead tired yesterday. I was supposed to write this before I left, but oh well. Here’s the short review on the anime, since I watched it what…a month ago, and details are a little hazy. May contain spoilers.
Unfortunately, after the last post, we got even busier. As I sit here in front of my desktop, tapping out these words, I’m wondering about the huge workload waiting for me, and my wondrous ability to procrastinate till such a pile even managed to form. I haven’t really dedicated my time to this site. I keep saying I’ll do it when I’m really free, but what ends up happening is I don’t ever finish my work, and slack in between my work a lot. =\ I got problems sorting out my time. need.to.take.control.of.mylifeman..
Anyway. Yes, I’m surprised we’re still holding out. Anyway, recently, I went back two two relatively old anime series. One of which is Last Exile. I can’t personally say it’s heavenly, but it’s really good. Its character development is really emphasized on, and it is this point which made it so good. Its plot on the other hand…can’t say that I really understood the ending.

We’ve all heard of the movie Rebuild of Evangelion. That’s old news, passed by in Japan a couple of months ago, shaking up the otaku scene there, but only tremors were felt over here.
All that changed when I flipped open the Today Paper and saw a review, giving it 2.5 stars (the fucking noob who reviewed it obviously doesn’t know he’s dealing with the Holy Grail here). So I made a date with a mate, who shall be known only as Pikachu and we set off to catch the grand opening.

During the past few weeks, we were buried under piles of events and things and whatnots that just happened to coincidentally coincide with each other. After being buried under that pile of junk we call life… (more…)

Okay, here’s the deal see: Valentines’ Day is tomorrow so I decided to do a little something about romance. Many men will be forced, at some point, to part with their beloved anime/manga/loli stash by supreme order of their female companions. This can be avoided using proven game system/girlfriend social activities to gradually introduce otaku culture to your loved one and vice versa. You may not get her into Gundam 00, but she may end up watching some anime you both can enjoy.

“Why did the chicken cross the road?” is one of the oldest and most famous riddles still in use in the English language. The most common answer is “To get to the other side.” When asked at the end of a series of other riddles, whose answers are clever, obscure, and tricky, this answer’s obviousness and straight-forwardness becomes part of the humor.
With the global phenomenon called the internet, we’ve seen our fair share of celebrities having their go at this widespread example of bad humor. Ever wondered what your favorite (or hated) anime characters would say if they were asked?

This is a late report by yours truly. Apparently I’m so busy these days that I can’t turn my computer on half the time for fear of getting so distracted by it that my work piles over my head. Maybe I just suck at time management. So I actually thought up this idea and wanted it posted last week, but only got my ass down to it today. However, until I get the scanner up and working, you won’t be able to see my sketches.(in place, I got a couple of horrible mouse-drawn photoshop pics) T-T I’ll upload them ASAP but in the meantime, so really sorry =( I actually planned out more than two but unfortunately, due to time and brain constraints I scrapped the other two.

The U.S. presidential election has been described as “one of the most undemocratic in the world”, stemming from the fact that despite having 126 million people eligible to vote, it affects 6.6 billion people worldwide.
While desperately combing the web for information on such a topic for my homework assignment, I came across tj_han’s article on Gundam and dating http://www.riuva.com/?p=952. Inspired, I decided to borrow a few brainwaves and came up with this article (man I should turn this into a hobby). Being a stereotypical slacker, I’m focusing this article on two candidates from both the Democratic and Republican camps, both of which have either

2007 has been a bumper crop for the gaming industry. Playstaion 3 is slowly taking its deserved dominating position in the console market, despite having yet to release heavyweights like Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, and the king of kings Final Fantasy. The Wii has also lived up to expectations, with smash hits like the latest incantation of Super Smash Bros and Super Mario Galaxy. The 360 also has its fair share of blockbusters, and with 8800s selling like hot cakes, the PC isn’t just about to lose out.
So that brings us down to the various genres of games. The RPG sector is stellar, bringing us Granado Esparda, Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, and the game that wouldn’t die: World of Warcraft. RTS has a great showing too, with the expansion of Company of Heroes and the legendary Command and Conquer. Action has upped the ante as well, giving us Ninja Gaiden Sigma and God of War 2. Yet the real winner is the FPS sector. Brilliant stand-alones like the now legendary Bioshock and the visual treat Crysis are joined on shelves by new installments of hall of famers like Half-Life 2, Team Fortress, Call of Duty, Halo, and Medal of Honor. As 2007 reared its dying head, another phoenix, slumbering for over three years, finally awoke and basked radiant glory. Its name is Unreal Tournament.
